Professional Experience

Continued professional career in the United States, working for eight years as a design architect at renowned architectural firms such as SmithGroup and DDG. Gained extensive experience in large-scale architectural design and commercial space projects at an international level.

Following her return to Türkiye, founded Ertekin Development Consultancy (EDC), leading numerous design and real estate development projects both domestically and internationally. Operating under the identity of an “Experience Designer,” focuses primarily on shopping centers, commercial developments, and public spaces, with expertise in spatial experience design, renovation processes, and storytelling strategies.

Maintains strong international collaborations and serves as the Türkiye representative for leading global firms including MAD Architects, BCT Architects, Design International, and Roy Higgs International.

Actively engaged in architectural education, delivering courses on architectural design and commercial space design at Medipol University, Istanbul Bilgi University, and Özyeğin University.

LEED Accredited Professional. Advanced proficiency in English.
